Ease
of Use
A healthcare worker can simply walk up to a computer, our
proximity readers will detect them. The proximity reader will then
bring up a login prompt. The healthcare worker simply swipes a
smart card, with authenticates them across the network and
subsequent applications. Their applications and data instantly
shows up wherever they are! That's it, no other authentication into
applications, no additional keyboarding, no more running back and
fourth to their PC. All this results in more time to spend with the
patient and improved overall healthcare.
Collaboration
Our system allows for users to collaborate with one another in a
virtual online conference. Imagine if two doctors in two different
parts of the world could instantly and securely collaborate on a
X-RAY images/MRI or other patient data? What if first responders to
an accident site, could instantly share data with trauma doctors
before they even get to the hospital? All this is possible with our
solution.
Operating System Independence
The healthcare worker is no longer tied to their traditional PC.
In fact, you can eliminate the need to ever buy, upgrade or support
another PC. Our solution works on virtually any operating system,
any network, any device. The proximity sensor technology we utilize
is also completely independent of Operating System. There are no
drivers to install, no back end servers to setup and seamless to
incorporate into an existing healthcare network.
Mobility
Our solution is built top to bottom to provide complete user
mobility. The healthcare worker can travel from location to
location, exam room to exam room, between work and home, between
ambulance or crisis management in the field to the hospital,
between their Windows Mobile PDA and their PC/Thin client and their
same office applications, data and even the entire desktop, will
follow them around. Traditional PC login and logout times are
notoriously slow and keep the user tied to a given PC. Our solution
incorporates dynamic session roaming. Soon as a user goes from one
device to another or one location to another, their desktop
instantly 'pops' over, virtually no delay. This approach
drastically improves efficiency and quality of service in
healthcare by allowing the healthcare worker to focus on providing
the best patient care, without running back and fourth to their
PC's/slow application logins and other common problems.
